Why bother
Dirty cans are more than a smell.
In our heat, leftover food and liquid in the bottom of a can starts to rot within days. That's what brings the flies, maggots, ants, and critters, and that smell when you open the lid.
Rinsing it out with a garden hose usually just moves the mess around. A real wash, sanitize, and deodorize gets the grime off the walls and bottom and knocks out the smell.
A monthly plan keeps it from ever getting bad again, and you don't have to remember a thing.

Monthly plans are billed automatically to the card on file. One-time cleans can be paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cash, or Zelle.
