Why soft wash
Why roofs should never be blasted.
High pressure can knock the protective granules off shingles, wear down or crack tile, and push water up under the roof. It also leaves the algae's roots behind, so the streaks come right back.
Soft washing kills the algae instead of scraping it off. It's the gentler way to clean a roof, and it's the only way we do it.
A clean roof does more than look better. Algae holds moisture and keeps spreading, and a streaky roof is one of the first things buyers, neighbors, and HOAs notice.

Will roof cleaning damage my shingles or tile?
Not with a soft wash. Low pressure doesn't strip shingle granules or crack tile the way a pressure washer can.
How long will my roof stay clean?
It depends on shade, nearby trees, and how close you are to the water. Cleaning kills the algae that's there, but it can grow back over time. We'll give you a straight answer for your roof.
